Slough’s Community Diagnostic Centre Invests £25 Million in Modular Unit Construction

Introduction:

The construction of Slough’s new £25 million Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) has reached an important stage. This marks a key step forward in bringing the healthcare facility closer to completion.

Features:

A total of 61 modules will be installed over the coming weeks as part of the development led by Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. 

 The CDC is designed to improve healthcare access for Slough residents. It aims to enhance diagnostic services, reduce waiting times, and address health inequalities within the area.

The construction process follows a modular approach, which supports sustainability and efficiency. This method helps to minimize environmental impact while ensuring the facility is built to meet future healthcare needs.
 
Once completed, the new centre will provide faster access to diagnostic services, improving patient experience.

Scheduled to open in December 2025.
