Introduction:
South Baldwin Regional Medical Center plans for the expansion and modernisation of the hospital. The project is planned with an investment of US$186 million.
Features:
The project includes construction of a new four-story patient tower covering an area of 133,433 square foot. The first floor of the patient tower includes a new surgical department consisting of outpatient entrance. The second and third floors feature nursing units and larger intensive care units. In addition, the fourth floor space will be planned in future depending on the community's needs.
The new construction and renovation are planned to provide better patient experience by giving highest quality care. The entrance of the hospital is designed through a new lobby.
After the completion of the expansion with increased surgical care areas it is expected that the hospital will provide various types of surgeries.
The construction of the new project is expected to start by the end of 2021.
