South Florida Baptist Hospital Constructs New Hospital at New Plant City

South Florida Baptist Hospital plans for the construction of new hospital. The new medical office building will be located a few miles away from the current location.
Features:
The project includes construction of new hospital and a medical office building designed with 85,000 square-foot. The present South Florida Baptist Hospital is 250,000 square feet and the new hospital is laid with 420,000 square feet which doubles the size of the existing hospital.
The hospital features two six-story towers consists of 146 inpatient/observation private hospital rooms, C-section rooms for labor & delivery, 15-bed mother and baby unit. It is expected 250 physicians will work at the new facility.
The hospital also includes 26 ICU beds and an emergency department consisting of 30 beds. Moreover, the hospital adds four interventional/cardiac Cath suites along with an 8-bed surgery center.
The medical office building features three floors dedicated for physician, administrative offices. It offers outpatient services for laboratory, imaging, adult rehabilitation, wound and hyperbaric center, infusion center.
The construction of the new hospital is underway and it is expected to complete in early 2024.
