Spectrum Health Invests US$151 million in New building Projects

Introduction:

Spectrum Health announces plans for the construction of new medical center benefiting the patients in several West Michigan locations.

Features:

The project includes construction of medical center, Lakeview rural health clinic and a primary care building.

New Ambulatory Care Building:
The new 11-story ambulatory care building is designed with 240,000 square foot. The cosntruction of this new building will bring primary, specilaity care and several outpatient services together.

Moreover, the facility also houses a simulation center to educate and train physicians by making use of applied experiential learning and hands-on innovative technology to improve patient safety and outcomes. The new building is expected to open in 2024.

Lakeview Rural Health Clinic
The rural clinic with 15,800 square foot building will re-locate he Lakeview Family Medicine practice, outpatient rehabilitation and walk-in clinic from its current location and provide space for speciality care services. The new rural health clinic will benefit the people of Lakeview community and surrounding area by bringing together much-needed outpatient care.

It is expected to be completed by 2023.

Big Rapids Primary Care Building
The primary care building laid with 33,000 square foot building features Big Rapids Family Medicine clinic, outpatient rehabilitation and other ancillary services which are currently located in the hospital. It is expected to open by Spring 2023.
