St. Charles Hospital Invests US$10 million to Expand Emergency Department in USA
Introduction:
Catholic Health’s St. Charles Hospital plans to invest US$10 million to expand its Emergency Department (ED). The ED will be loctaed at New York, USA
Features:
The project involves expanding the Emergency Department (ED) to accommodate additional facilities and improve patient care.
The expansion will encompass an additional 4,000 square feet, allowing for the inclusion of 10 more treatment bays, an expanded waiting room, and extra nursing and charging stations.
It will also include an ED-dedicated Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Room, which will be equipped with a fully outfitted CT scan machine. This addition aims to reduce wait times for patients and enhance the flow of patients from the ED to the inpatient setting, thus improving overall patient care.
The expanded ED will also address the specific needs of patients seeking emergency care. This will lead to more efficient patient flow management, resulting in higher-quality patient care across the board.
The expanded Emergency Department (ED) will include a dedicated and separate waiting room and treatment area specifically designed for patients seeking medically supervised chemical dependency detoxification and rehabilitation.
The entire expansion project is expected to be completed by the end of summer 2024.
