Sutter Santa Rose Breaks Ground On US$158 million Healthcare Expansion Project

Introduction:

Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital broke ground on the massive US$158 million healthcare expansion and renovation project in Sonoma County, Northern California.

Features:

The expansion includes a three-story, 67,000 square-foot wing that will be attached to the east end of the hospital.

The addition will house 40 beds, two operating rooms, an endoscopy room and 11 post-anesthesia care unit bays.

This expansion will allow Sutter to renovate 10,713 square feet of space in the existing hospital.

Moreover, Sutter also plans to add nine emergency department exam rooms and the renovation will allow the hospital to expand dietary, laboratory and blood bank services.

The new facility is the second phase of construction on the Santa Rosa hospital. The first phase was the hospital itself.
