Introduction:
St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital-North and St. Joseph's Hospital-South to expand in Size along with various new Medical Specialties.

The project includes expansion of three hospitals namely St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, St. Joseph's Hospital-North in Lutz and St. Joseph's Hospital-South in Riverview, Hillsborough County community, Florida. Investment involved in this expansion is US$308 million.
Construction begins next year and expected to complete by the end of 2020. All three projects were approved by City and county planning officials.
St. Joseph's Hospital plans include a new six-story tower which has a two-story lobby with drive-up front access, as well as waiting and on-call rooms, three patient care floors with 30 private patient rooms per floor along with an entire floor dedicated for mechanical support.
A link is built to the existing main tower at floors 1, 2, 5 and the basement connecting bridge to St. Joseph's Women's Hospital across Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The capital cost is approximately US$126 million and is expected to complete by December 2019.
At St. Joseph's Hospital-North, the project includes two additional patient care floors with 54 private patient rooms per floor.
Its build-out of four existing shelled operating-room suites and expansion/relocation of ancillary services to support increased patient volumes.
The Capital cost is approximately US$70 million and is predictable to complete August 2019.
St. Joseph's Hospital-South's two-phase expansion includes Phase 1 comprising a new five-story building with a 25-bed emergency department expansion with CT, x-ray and ultrasound as well as an 18-bed observation unit.
Its build-out of one existing shelled operating room and one existing shelled catheterization lab along with a n extra space held in reserve for future growth.
And the Phase 2 is build-out of two additional medical/surgical floors and the addition of NICU and pediatric services.
It comprises 10 NICU, 12 pediatric and 12 pediatric progressive care unit patient rooms 36 medical/surgical patient rooms.
There would be Expansion, relocation and renovation of ancillary spaces.
The capital cost of Phase 1 is approximately US$74 million and Phase 2 is approximately US$38 million
The estimated date of completion of Phase 1 is April 2019 and Phase 2 is December 2020.
