The new facility aims to enhance and revolutionise patient care by advancing primary and speciality medical services within the region while also modernising existing facilities.
The Folsom Medical Office Building, a new three-storey outpatient clinic, will encompass a comprehensive range of medical services, including primary care, speciality care, a lab for blood draws, ophthalmology services, an optical shop, imaging capabilities, and an infusion suite designed to administer treatments for cancer patients and other medical procedures.
In addition, the facility will house state-of-the-art imaging capabilities. Furthermore, an infusion suite will be available to administer specialised treatments, particularly for cancer patients alongside a range of other medical services.
The complex will a micro-hospital with a comprehensive emergency department, accommodating up to 30 beds, will be an integral part of the setup.
The new health campus is set to leverage the latest technological advancements in the medical field to provide an increased level of medical care outside of the traditional hospital setting. This can include outpatient centres, clinics, and even at-home care, all aimed at not only reducing healthcare costs but also enhancing patient comfort and convenience.
Construction has already started on the project and is scheduled to be completed by the year 2025.
