University Health invests US$450 million to open a new hospital in USA. The new hospital will serve the rapidly growing community.
Features:
A state-of-the-art hospital, spanning five storeys, is currently under construction, accompanied by an integrated medical office building.
The facility will house a 24/7 emergency department, a labour and delivery unit, a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), inpatient units, operating rooms, as well as comprehensive radiology and laboratory services.
The initial capacity of 166 inpatient beds is designed to be scalable, allowing for expansion to 286 beds to meet the growing population demands on the South Side.
The new hospital construction is undergoing a strategic expansion focused on delivering inpatient services in closer proximity to the homes of families. The anticipated opening of the new hospital is set for 2027.
