Features:
The new 11,500-square-foot emergency department, housed within HCA Florida's Blake Hospital, will operate round-the-clock, seven days a week.
The site will comprise 12 examination rooms and provide comprehensive emergency services, encompassing laboratory work, x-rays, CT scans, and ultrasound capabilities. Projections indicate it will cater to more than 10,000 patients yearly.
The facility anticipates the creation of 32 new full-time roles, spanning diverse areas such as nursing, paramedicine, radiology technology, security, laboratory services, pharmacy support, and housekeeping. This expansion will significantly enhance the facility's operational capacity and service provision.
The standalone emergency department is scheduled for opening in the summer of 2024.
