Introduction:
Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) invests US$838 million for the construction of Neurosciences Center.
Features:
The construction includes two new patinet towers focuisng on the innovation in the neurosciences. The first tower named Sherman tower is adjacent to Sherman Avenue and the other McGivney tower will be built at the top of the current McGivney Center.
Both the towers will share the common podium. The new entrnace and the main lobby for both the floors will be on the first floor, second floor features neurosurgery, radiology spaces whereas the third floor consists of space dedicated for care givers and a mechanical equipment room.
The new center consists of 201 inpatient beds together provided with a unique setting for patients who require innovative care for movement disorders to neuro-regeneration.
