QT Imaging, Inc, developed breakthrough transmission ultrasound as a new medical imaging technology for breast imaging.
The first FDA cleared QT Breast Scanner is applicable for whole breast imaging and will also be used for medical screening and diagnosis.
In clinical trials, the QTscan® has showed positive results consisting of having superior sensitivity when compared with X-ray mammography. Moreover, QTscan® also has the ability to differentiate between benign and problematic tissue without requiring the need for compression, injections, and potentially harmful radiation.
This new platform technology helps for developing various products for orthopedic and whole-body imaging and remains to be the excellent treatment platform for image-guided procedures including a non-surgical treatment of early-stage breast cancer.
