Ceribell Launches Breakthrough ClarityPro Device to Diagnose Electrographic Status Epilepticus

Ceribell has introduced breakthrough device ClarityPro, designed to diagnose a condition with electrographic status epilepticus (ESE).

ClarityPro device uses an innovative machine learning model to analyse signals recorded by an EEG system. ClarityPro is the first and currently the only device specifically indicated for the diagnosis of ESE, representing a significant advancement in the field of healthcare.

ClarityPro consists of the ability to assist healthcare professionals, particularly physicians, in promptly identifying ESE in acute-care settings where rapid diagnosis and treatment are essential for patient well-being. This device promises to greatly enhance patient care, especially for those experiencing seizure activity.

ClarityPro has received approval for reimbursement from the centres for medicare & medicaid services (CMS) through the new technology add-on payment programme making it accessible to hospitals, and has been granted breakthrough device status by the FDA.
