Cytovale Introduced First-of-its-Kind IntelliSep® Sepsis Test for Identifying Sepsis

Cytovale has introduced IntelliSep® Sepsis Test, a first-of-its-kind diagnostic tool tailored for use in emergency departments (EDs).

IntelliSep, a diagnostic tool, assists medical professionals in quickly identifying sepsis and making important treatment choices by providing test results within 10 minutes, being easy to use, fitting into existing healthcare routines, and not being expensive.

The IntelliSep test is an innovative tool used to diagnose sepsis. It sorts patients into three groups based on how likely they are to have sepsis, using a regular blood sample. These results can help doctors give the best treatment.

IntelliSep is an innovative method to rapidly and precisely analyse white blood cells to cheque how likely a patient has sepsis. This test is designed to determine sepsis probability by biomechanically evaluating white blood cells obtained from a standard blood sample.

Sepsis stands as one of the most prevalent challenges faced by emergency departments across the United States. Detecting it early with a fast and accurate test has been difficult until recently.

Sepsis is a major reason for deaths globally and causes over 350,000 deaths annually in the US alone. This number exceeds the combined deaths caused by opioid overdoses, prostate cancer, and breast cancer.  If sepsis caught early and treated quickly, up to 80 percent of these deaths can be stopped.

An innovatiove diagnostic solution, IntelliSep® Sepsis Test, has been introduced for the identification of sepsis.
