Discovery NM 530c Scanner by GE Healthcare

GE Healthcare's Discovery NM 530c cardiac imaging scanners are expected to pave the way for quicker, clearer and lower-dose scans for cardiac patients. This scanner is driven by GE's Alcyone technology and is the upgrade to SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography). Discovery NM 530c Scanner reduces exposure to radiation and enhances quality of the image.

Discovery NM 530c cardiac imaging scanners are sensitive and able to gather image data quickly, reducing the scan time to three minutes.

The scanners have been installed at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City, USA, Ottawa Heart Institute in Ottawa, Canada, University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland and Gabriele Monasterio Foundation, CNR, in Pisa, Italy.
