FDA Clears Spectrum Dynamics’ Breakthrough Veritas.AI™ AI Noise Reduction Platform

Spectrum Dynamics Medical has received FDA 510(k) clearance for Veritas.AI™, an artificial intelligence-powered noise reduction platform for its VERITON-CT® digital SPECT/CT system.

The platform is designed to enhance image quality, diagnostic confidence, and operational efficiency across routine and advanced nuclear medicine applications.

Veritas.AI uses deep learning to intelligently reduce image noise while preserving spatial resolution and quantitative accuracy.

Clinically validated across multiple tracers, including bone imaging, Lu-177 theranostics, and I-123 MIBG, the technology can cut scan times by up to 50%, improving patient comfort and increasing departmental throughput.

Unlike conventional denoising methods, Veritas.AI performs consistently in both low-count and high-noise scenarios, from routine diagnostics to delayed post-therapy imaging.

The platform includes specialised applications: Bone-IQ.AI enables faster whole-body bone scans while maintaining quality, Thera-IQ.AI improves post-treatment accuracy for Lu-177 theranostics, and MIBG-IQ.AI supports safer and faster paediatric I-123 MIBG exams.

When combined with VERITON-CT’s 360° CZT digital detector and quantitation-ready workflows, Veritas.AI strengthens Spectrum Dynamics’ leadership in digital SPECT/CT, supporting clinical practice, theranostics, and research.

FDA clearance of Veritas.AI underscores Spectrum Dynamics’ commitment to AI-driven innovation, establishing a new standard for clarity, confidence, and efficiency in nuclear medicine imaging.
