GE HealthCare Receives FDA Clearance for Next-Generation Radiology Viewer

GE HealthCare has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for View, a next-generation diagnostic viewer within its Genesis™ Radiology Workspace. 

The cloud-native solution is designed to improve radiology workflows, enhance efficiency, and provide radiologists with secure access to imaging from virtually any location.

Radiologists spend a significant portion of their time on non-interpretive tasks such as navigating systems and waiting for images to load, which can affect productivity and reporting times. 

View addresses these challenges by offering a fast, zero-footprint viewer that simplifies access and streamlines workflows.

The platform supports high-performance 2D and 3D imaging, along with AI-enabled tools to aid faster and more accurate clinical decision-making. 

It also provides direct access to advanced visualisation applications within a single interface, enabling more comprehensive analysis without switching systems.
