New Canady Flex RoboWrist™ Device Launched for Open and Laparoscopic Procedures

US Medical Innovations launched Canady Flex RoboWrist™, a New Robotic Surgery Device to be used in open and laparoscopic procedures in the United States.

Flex RoboWrist represents a significant advancement in laparoscopic surgical technology by providing motorised control over bidirectional deflection and unlimited rotation of the distal jaws.

It enables surgeons to access surgical sites more effectively and perform laparoscopic suturing with greater precision. Ultimately, the Flex RoboWrist empowers surgeons to achieve exceptional results and pushes the boundaries of what is possible in laparoscopic surgical procedures.

The Canady Flex RoboWrist™ offers cost-effectiveness, as it is designed to be affordable. Moreover, the device eliminates the need for disposables.

The Canady Flex RoboWrist is a fully articulating motorised instrument that measures 5mm in diameter. It comes with a variety of end effectors, including a hook, scissors, needle driver, and dissector, offering three degrees of freedom and 360 degrees of rotation.

The instrument is designed to be handheld and includes a connector for the USMI XL-1000 electrosurgical generator, allowing the option of using the mono scissors or hook for electrosurgery.

The primary purpose of the Flex RoboWrist is to facilitate dissection, transection, and suturing of tissue during open, endoscopic, and minimally invasive surgical procedures. It finds applications in various surgical specialities such as laparoscopic, urologic, gynaecologic, general, and thoracic surgeries.

Canady Flex RoboWrist™ device is already approved and used in the Middle East, Europe, and Asian countries.
