Non-Invasive System Developed for Heart Failure Management System

AUDICOR®, a novel non-invasive system developed for the heart failure patients. The device AUDICOR® will remotely monitor the risk of decomposition in heart failure patients. The system makes use of clinically tested algorithm to identify the risk of decompensation in patientsat home who have been previously hospitalised for heart failure.

AUDICOR® system uses the promising technology to detect potential problems outside of the hospital thereby enhancing the management of heart failure patients. Moreover, the system allows clinicians to modify the patients' therapeutic regimens and maintain their stable condition.

The heart failure management system AUDICOR is non-invasive and assesses the mechanical efficiency, as well as the electrical activity, of the heart. Signals acquired through a hand-held device are connected to a smart phone for analysis in the cloud. These signals produceproprietary cardiac acoustic biomarkers, which have been shown to provide actionable data to optimise therapy and improve patient outcomes.

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Breakthrough Device Designation for Novel Non-Invasive System to Remotely Monitor Risk of Decompensation in Heart Failure Patients.
