Novel GWave Technology Developed for Diabetes Management

GWave technology is impressive. The world’s first non-invasive continuous glucose monitoring technology makes use of radiofrequency (RF) waves for the measurement of glucose levels in blood.

With the use of GWave technology the diabetes management can be significantly improved. The device measures blood glucose levels by eliminating the need for picking the blood from skin by making it easy and painless device to use.

In a study, GWave technology was able to detect accurate real-time blood glucose when compared to that of hexokinase core laboratory assay measurements during oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT).

Measuring accurate blood glucose levels regularly is mandatory for people with diabetes on insulin treatment and for most of the people it also helps with prediabetes. Moreover, this easy and painless device enables early detection of glucose and provides good dietary and exercise practices.
