Tasso Introduces Groundbreaking Technology for Convenient Dried Blood Spot Sampling

Tasso a leading provider of patient-centric, clinical-grade blood collection solutions, has introduced its latest technology for dried blood spot (DBS) sample collection.

The new system integrates the Tile™-T20 dried whole blood cartridge with the Tasso™ Mini device, designed to enhance the accuracy and convenience of DBS sample collection in clinical trials and sports anti-doping testing.

The newly developed collection system offers significant improvements over traditional DBS methods, aiming to streamline and accelerate the clinical trial process.

Tile-T20 is the first DBS collection cartridge specifically designed for use with patient-centric blood lancets.

It collects four precise, volumetrically controlled blood samples suitable for quantitative assessments and drug concentration measurements.

The cartridge is compatible with Tasso’s range of virtually painless, FDA-cleared and CE-marked blood collection devices, including Tasso Mini and Tasso+.

The Tasso Mini device is the latest addition to the company’s patient-focused blood lancet range.

It provides a gentle blood collection experience, making it ideal for sensitive populations or cases requiring frequent blood sampling.

The device is FDA Class II Lancet 510(k)-cleared and CE-marked, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The latest technology from Tasso aims to improve patient experience and enhance overall efficiency in sample collection.
