Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation has appointed Dr. Raymond Turner as its corporate vice president and chief medical officer. 

Dr. Turner brings over 20 years of experience in clinical operations and medical leadership, strengthening Integra’s capabilities in medical affairs and clinical development.

At Integra, Dr. Turner will oversee global medical affairs, clinical research, trial operations, evidence generation, medical safety, and communications. In addition to his corporate role, he will continue clinical practice, providing neurosurgical care to patients.

Dr. Turner has held senior positions at Siemens Healthineers, including Chief Medical Officer for Siemens Endovascular Robotics, and served as Medical Director at Cerenovus, a Johnson & Johnson MedTech company. He also served as Program Director of the Neurosurgery Residency Program and Chief of Neuroscience at the Medical University of South Carolina.

His clinical experience includes practicing surgery at PRISMA Health and Intermountain Health in Montana, and he currently serves as an examiner for the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Turner earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Sacred Heart University and his medical degree from Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences, Poland. He completed his neurological surgery residency and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Turner has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to more than 70 pre-clinical and clinical research studies.
