Jay Roberts
Life365, a leading virtual care and data engagement platform, has named Jay Roberts as its new Chief Development Officer (CDO).
With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare innovation, finance, and operational leadership, Roberts joins the company’s executive team at a pivotal moment as it scales its AI-driven healthcare solutions across enterprise providers, payers, and government agencies.
Roberts previously served as an executive advisor to Life365, offering strategic insight into business development and capital strategy. In his new role, he will lead growth initiatives, including capital formation, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement, all aimed at accelerating Life365’s mission to deliver intelligent, integrated virtual care solutions to populations at scale.
Roberts is also a Partner at Ventac Partners, a global catalyst for life sciences innovation, and a Venture Partner at DigiLife Fund II, where he leads investment strategy and due diligence across digital health portfolios. His dual perspective as an investor and operator positions him uniquely to shape Life365’s long-term growth and innovation strategy.
In addition to his new role, Roberts brings extensive board-level experience, currently serving on the Board of Trustees at U.S. Pharmacopeia, as well as boards of several healthcare companies, including Cingulate, Caidya Research, Veriskin, NaviPoint Health, and Vyant Bio. He most recently served as President and CEO of Vyant Bio, guiding the company in leveraging AI and stem cell technology to reimagine drug discovery for neurological diseases.
Roberts’s prior leadership roles span CEO, COO, and CFO positions across both public and private companies in healthcare technology, biotech, and life sciences. He has been directly involved in more than 50 capital transactions, M&As, and strategic partnerships across sectors including diagnostics, digital therapeutics, life sciences manufacturing, and healthcare software.
His background also includes roles as CEO and COO at Cancer Genetics, and CFO at VirMedica, a technology innovator in patient access solutions. A frequent speaker on corporate strategy, conscious capitalism, and digital health transformation, Roberts is a recognized voice in the next-generation healthcare ecosystem.
Roberts holds an MBA from the University of Maine and is an active member of the Alliance of CEOs.
