Philips Announces Proposed Changes to Supervisory Board and Board of Management

Royal Philips, a global leader in health technology, has announced a series of proposed appointments and reappointments to its Supervisory Board and Board of Management, to be submitted for shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2025.

Mr. David Pyott (British/American, born 1953), who has served on the Supervisory Board since 2015, will retire at the conclusion of the 2025 AGM after completing three consecutive terms. Mr. Pyott has made significant contributions during his tenure, most notably as Chair of the Quality & Regulatory Committee since May 2020.

To succeed Mr. Pyott, the Supervisory Board will propose the appointment of Mr. Bob White (American, born 1962) as a new member. Upon approval, Mr. White will take over as Chair of the Quality & Regulatory Committee. His nomination is grounded in his extensive global leadership experience in the health technology sector across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Most recently, Mr. White served as Executive Vice President at Medtronic, following senior roles at GE Healthcare, IBM, and other top-tier health tech organizations, where he consistently drove innovation and growth.

In addition, the Supervisory Board will recommend the reappointments of Ms. Indra Nooyi (American, born 1955) and Ms. Chua Sock Koong (Singaporean, born 1957). Both have made significant contributions as Supervisory Board members, bringing deep expertise in consumer products, technology, digitization, finance, and Asian markets. Their continued presence will support Philips' strategic focus on delivering impactful, sustainable healthcare solutions globally.
