Mike Sherman
PainTEQ, a medical device company specializing in minimally invasive solutions for sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction, has appointed Mike Sherman to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Mr. Sherman brings over 30 years of leadership experience in medical device innovation and company development. At Medtronic’s Spine division, he created and led the Technology Development group, driving novel product solutions and spine-related business development initiatives.
He later served as a Partner at MB Venture Partners, where he sourced and led investments in early-stage musculoskeletal companies. In 2011, he founded MB Innovations (MBI), serving as Executive Chairman and later as President & CEO starting in 2017.
Mr. Sherman is a prolific inventor, holding more than 130 U.S. patents covering spinal implants, surgical instruments, and minimally invasive techniques.
His appointment strengthens PainTEQ’s leadership as the company continues to advance innovative solutions for SI joint dysfunction and drive growth in the medical device sector.
