CooperCompanies Appoints Paul Keel as Independent Director to Strengthen Board Leadership

CooperCompanies, a leading global medical device company, has appointed Paul Keel as an independent member of its Board of Directors. 

In addition to joining the Board, Keel will serve on the company's Audit Committee, further strengthening its governance and financial oversight.

Keel currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Envista Holdings Corporation, a global specialty medical technology company, a position he has held since 2024. He brings decades of executive leadership experience spanning the medical technology, industrial technology, manufacturing, and consumer sectors.

Before joining Envista, Keel served as Chief Executive Officer of Smiths Group plc from 2021 to 2024, where he led the diversified global industrial technology company through a period of strategic growth. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years at 3M, holding several senior leadership positions, including Group President of the Consumer Business, President of 3M Medical, President of 3M Unitek, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Business Development.

Keel has also held leadership and advisory roles at General Mills, General Electric, Norwest Equity Partners, and McKinsey & Company, giving him broad expertise in corporate strategy, operations, and business transformation.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Carleton College.

Keel's appointment reflects CooperCompanies' commitment to enhancing its Board with experienced industry leaders who can support the company's long-term strategy, strengthen corporate governance, and drive sustainable growth across its global medical device business.
