Steven Pfanstiel

Lungpacer Medical has appointed Steven Pfanstiel as its Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its executive leadership as the company advances the commercialization of its AeroPace® System.

The medical technology company, which develops neurostimulation therapies for critically ill patients, announced the appointment as it continues to expand its commercial operations.
Pfanstiel brings nearly 25 years of financial and operational leadership experience across the medical device, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive positions at both public and private companies, helping organizations scale innovative therapies, strengthen financial performance, and support commercial growth.

Most recently, Pfanstiel served as Chief Financial Officer at Neuronetics, where he played a key role in integrating the Greenbrook clinic business while supporting the company's commercial expansion. Prior to that, he served as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Marinus Pharmaceuticals, helping lead the commercial launch of Ztalmy®, a novel anti-seizure therapy. He also contributed to the company's successful acquisition by Immedica Pharma AB in 2025.

Earlier in his career, Pfanstiel held senior finance and operational leadership roles at LifeScan, OptiNose, and Johnson & Johnson, gaining broad expertise in corporate finance, operational strategy, and healthcare business development.

As Chief Financial Officer, Pfanstiel will oversee Lungpacer Medical's financial strategy and operational planning as the company continues to expand the commercialization of its AeroPace® System and strengthen its market presence. His appointment reflects Lungpacer's focus on building an experienced leadership team capable of supporting long-term growth, operational excellence, and the successful delivery of innovative medical technologies to improve outcomes for critically ill patients.

Pfanstiel holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, a Master of Science in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Wabash College.
