Umesh Sripad

LifeMD has appointed Umesh Sripad as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as the telehealth provider accelerates its technology-driven growth strategy. 

In his new role, Sripad will lead the company's technology vision, overseeing platform transformation, artificial intelligence initiatives, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, and enterprise scalability to support LifeMD's continued expansion.

Sripad brings more than 20 years of experience in digital transformation, technology leadership, and customer-focused innovation across public companies, high-growth businesses, and private equity-backed organizations. His expertise spans digital commerce, enterprise technology, product development, and operational modernization, making him well-positioned to guide LifeMD's next phase of technological advancement.

Before joining LifeMD, Sripad served as Chief Digital and Technology Officer at PetMeds, where he led enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives across e-commerce, pharmacy technology, customer experience, data platforms, and core business systems. His leadership helped modernize operations while enhancing digital capabilities across the organization.

Earlier in his career, Sripad held senior executive positions at several leading organizations, including Chief Product Officer at PureRED, Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Bed Bath & Beyond, and Chief Digital Officer for IKEA USA, where he helped scale the company's U.S. digital business into a multibillion-dollar platform. He also held leadership roles at Overstock.com, CNN, and The Weather Channel, gaining extensive experience across retail, media, and digital technology sectors.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Sripad is an active member of the Forbes Technology Council, advises emerging technology and product organizations, and regularly speaks at industry conferences on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, innovation, and operational excellence. His appointment reflects LifeMD's commitment to strengthening its technology capabilities and expanding its digital healthcare platform.
