Biomerics, a leading vertically integrated contract manufacturer for the interventional medical device industry, has appointed Arun Mohan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

Founder and current CEO Travis Sessions will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board, ensuring continued alignment of Biomerics’ long-term vision and strategic direction.

In his new role, Mohan will serve on the Biomerics Board of Directors and oversee the company’s global operations, financial performance, and strategic growth initiatives. Having previously served as President of Biomerics’ Micro Metals Division, Mohan led a high-performing team recognized for excellence in customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and scalable growth. 

His leadership approach emphasizes customer focus, employee empowerment, and innovation-driven execution, positioning Biomerics for sustained success in an evolving medtech landscape.

Sessions, who founded Biomerics in 1994, will continue to play an active role as Chairman, guiding the company’s strategic roadmap and advising on key initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions. Under his leadership, Biomerics has grown from a small startup into a trusted global partner with more than 3,000 employees across 12 locations in the United States, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. 

The company serves many of the world’s leading interventional device manufacturers, offering end-to-end capabilities that span design, development, and manufacturing.

Mohan’s appointment marks a new chapter for Biomerics, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and long-term partnership with the medical device industry.
