AIROS Medical Appoints Dr. John Evans as Lead Medical Advisor to Advance PAD Education and Clinical Outreach

AIROS Medical has appointed John N. Evans as Lead Medical Advisor, further strengthening the company’s clinical leadership as it expands awareness and adoption of compression therapy solutions for peripheral vascular disorders.

Dr. Evans has been supporting AIROS Medical clinically since the launch of the company’s ARTAIRA® Arterial Compression Device last year. In his expanded advisory role, he will lead physician-focused education and clinical engagement initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of intermittent pneumatic compression therapies among podiatrists, vascular surgeons, wound care specialists, and patients.

According to the company, Dr. Evans will spearhead a range of educational activities, including conference presentations, clinical workshops, webinars, trade show sessions, and patient case study discussions. These initiatives are designed to support broader understanding of how compression therapy can help manage symptoms associated with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and improve circulation.

ARTAIRA® is a non-invasive intermittent pneumatic compression device cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to help increase blood flow and circulation. The device delivers rapid, high-pressure compression cycles to the calf, ankle, and foot, helping improve circulation to the legs, feet, and toes. AIROS Medical noted that patients can use the device at home with a physician prescription.

The company also stated that ARTAIRA® is currently available throughout the United States and is reimbursed by Medicare and select commercial insurance providers when supported by appropriate documentation. Through Dr. Evans’ leadership, AIROS Medical aims to expand clinical education efforts and further strengthen physician and patient understanding of advanced compression therapy technologies for vascular health management.
