Dr. Simos Kedikoglou
Anumana, a pioneering AI-powered health technology company, has appointed Dr. Simos Kedikoglou as its new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Dr. Kedikoglou brings a wealth of global experience in healthcare strategy, medical device commercialization, and executive leadership to his new role.
At Anumana, he will be responsible for leading commercial operations, forging strategic partnerships, and overseeing the company’s growth initiatives as it continues to revolutionize healthcare through cutting-edge AI technologies.
Prior to joining Anumana, Dr. Kedikoglou served as CEO of Impulse Dynamics, where he led the global rollout of the Optimizer®, the world’s first active implantable device for heart failure. Under his leadership, the company raised US$350 million, completed multiple clinical trials enrolling over 5,000 patients, and achieved a US$40 million revenue run rate despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also scaled the commercial team to over 150 professionals globally.
In addition, Dr. Kedikoglou served on the Executive Board of MedAlliance, where he was instrumental in raising US$150 million and facilitating the company’s acquisition by Cordis. His previous roles include Corporate Vice President of Business Development at Boston Scientific, where he oversaw major global acquisitions, and Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising on healthcare transactions worth more than US$45 billion.
Dr. Kedikoglou holds a medical degree from the University of Athens, an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, a master’s in public health from Harvard University, and is a CFA charterholder.
His appointment marks a significant step forward for Anumana as it continues its mission to transform healthcare delivery through AI innovation.
