Mukhtar Ahmed
BC Platforms (BCP), a global leader in healthcare data management, real-world data (RWD), and analytics, has appointed Mukhtar Ahmed as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Mukhtar brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across life sciences, healthcare, and technology. He has held influential roles on the boards of the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and various venture capital and private equity-backed companies.
His previous executive positions include President of the Science Group at Clarivate, President of eHealth at Bioclinica, and Global Vice President for Life Sciences at Oracle Corporation. He has also held senior leadership roles at Medidata, Parexel, and Kendle, making him a seasoned leader in the intersection of healthcare and technology.
As CEO, Mukhtar will spearhead BCP’s next phase of growth, focusing on expanding its global footprint, enhancing strategic collaborations, and advancing cutting-edge RWD solutions that address the industry's rapidly evolving needs. Backed by a strong leadership team, he aims to reinforce BCP’s position as a trusted partner in driving healthcare innovation.
