Royal Philips, a global leader in health technology, has announced a series of proposed appointments and reappointments to its Supervisory Board and Board of Management, to be submitted for shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2025.
Mr. David Pyott (British/American, born 1953), who has served on the Supervisory Board since 2015, will retire at the conclusion of the 2025 AGM after completing three consecutive terms. Mr. Pyott has made significant contributions during his tenure, most notably as Chair of the Quality & Regulatory Committee since May 2020.
To succeed Mr. Pyott, the Supervisory Board will propose the appointment of Mr. Bob White (American, born 1962) as a new member. Upon approval, Mr. White will take over as Chair of the Quality & Regulatory Committee. His nomination is grounded in his extensive global leadership experience in the health technology sector across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Most recently, Mr. White served as Executive Vice President at Medtronic, following senior roles at GE Healthcare, IBM, and other top-tier health tech organizations, where he consistently drove innovation and growth.
Finally, the Supervisory Board will propose the reappointment of Mr. Marnix van Ginneken to the Philips Board of Management. Mr. van Ginneken’s reappointment recognizes his strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of the company, and broad expertise in international corporate governance. He has played a key role within the Executive Committee, supporting Philips’ transformation and long-term strategy.
