CereVasc Appoints Tony Kingsley to Lead Next Phase of Growth

CereVasc, Inc. has appointed Tony Kingsley as President and Chief Executive Officer, as the medical technology company prepares for the commercial introduction of its eShunt System.

Kingsley brings extensive leadership experience in building and advancing healthcare companies and will oversee CereVasc’s strategy and operations in his new role. His appointment comes as the company moves toward the next stage of development for its eShunt System, a technology designed to provide an alternative approach to conventional cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunting.

As part of the leadership transition, Dan Levangie, CereVasc’s current President and CEO, will become Chairman of the Board. He will continue to provide strategic guidance and support to the company as it advances its growth plans.

During his tenure as President and CEO, Levangie played a key role in developing CereVasc from an early-stage concept into an interventional neurosurgery company focused on addressing the limitations associated with conventional CSF shunting. Under his leadership, the company’s eShunt System has been used to treat more than 200 patients worldwide.

As Chairman, Levangie will remain actively involved with Kingsley, the Board of Directors, and CereVasc’s leadership team. His continued involvement is intended to support a smooth leadership transition while maintaining strategic continuity as the company progresses toward commercial introduction.

Kingsley will now lead the company’s strategic and operational activities, with a focus on advancing the eShunt System and supporting CereVasc’s transition toward commercialization. The leadership change marks a new phase for the company while retaining Levangie’s experience and strategic involvement.
