Vickie Capps
Orthofix Medical Inc., a leading global medical technology company, has appointed Vickie Capps to its Board of Directors, further strengthening the board’s depth in financial expertise and healthcare leadership.
Ms. Capps brings a distinguished background in finance, executive leadership, and board governance. She currently serves on the board of directors and audit committees of several companies, including Amedisys, Inc., a publicly traded home healthcare provider, and Janux Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company.
She also holds board roles with private medical device companies Enable Injections, Inc. and Breg, Inc., and serves on the Senior Advisory Board of Consonance Capital Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity firm.
Previously, she held board positions at NuVasive, Inc., Otonomy, Synthorx, Silverback Therapeutics, and several other life sciences and medical technology companies. Ms. Capps also served as Chief Financial Officer of DJO Global, Inc., a global orthopedics leader, from 2002 to 2013.
In addition to her corporate roles, she is a board member of the San Diego State University Research Foundation. A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Capps earned her B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from San Diego State University.
Her appointment increases Orthofix’s Board to ten members, enhancing its collective expertise across business, healthcare, and medical device sectors.
