OMRON Healthcare Appoints Alice Koehler as Managing Director, Announces Leadership Transition

OMRON Healthcare, Inc., the maker of the leading blood pressure monitor brand in the U.S. and Canada, has appointed Alice Koehler as Managing Director.
Koehler succeeds Ranndy Kellogg, who is retiring after successfully leading the company since April 2016. She will also join the OMRON Healthcare board of directors in the U.S.

With over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, and business development, Koehler brings a wealth of expertise from leading global brands such as GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft Foods, and Butterball. She is known for her success in developing product roadmaps, driving marketing strategy, and leveraging consumer insights to fuel growth and profitability across healthcare, pharma, and personal care sectors.

Most recently, Koehler served as Vice President of Sales for North America at Ontex, a global leader in personal hygiene, where she played a key role in driving significant regional growth. Before that, she led innovation and product management for Ontex in North America, fostering a customer-focused, collaborative culture.

Koehler succeeds Kellogg, who has played a pivotal role in advancing OMRON's "Going for Zero" mission, establishing strategic partnerships such as the one with AliveCor, and leading the development of innovative products like OMRON's connected blood pressure monitors and the "OMRON connect" app, as well as VitalSight, the company’s first remote patient monitoring service. Kellogg joined OMRON in 2005 and held several key roles, including Chief Operating Officer, before becoming president in 2016.

Koehler assumes the Managing Director position as OMRON Healthcare continues to push forward in ECG innovation, explore AI's potential in medical devices, and invest in digital transformation to address issues like healthcare professional burnout and health inequities.

She officially began her role on November 1, 2024, with Kellogg assisting in the leadership transition through January 2025. OMRON Healthcare North America is based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
