Jeannette Bankes
GE HealthCare, a global leader in healthcare technology and solutions, has appointed Jeannette Bankes as President and CEO of its Patient Care Solutions business.
With over 30 years of global leadership experience across product management, marketing, sales, regulatory, medical affairs, operations, and manufacturing, Bankes brings a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. She joins GE HealthCare from Alcon, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President and President of Global Franchises, leading product development, portfolio strategy, and commercialization across surgical, vision care, and ocular health segments.
Her career also includes senior roles at Boston Scientific and Merck, where she built a strong track record of driving innovation and growth in complex healthcare environments.
Bankes succeeds Tom Westrick, who is retiring after more than two decades with GE HealthCare. Westrick will continue with the company through May 31, 2025, to support a seamless leadership transition. Bankes will be based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
