Ramin Mousavi

Norway-based CardioMech AS, a medical device company developing a transfemoral, transseptally delivered mitral valve chordal repair technology in Fridley, Minnesota, has appointed Ramin Mousavi as Chairman of the Board.

Mousavi brings extensive leadership experience across the medical technology sector, with a focus on cardiovascular, structural heart, and neurovascular technologies. Most recently, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and board member of CathWorks, a medical device company acquired by Medtronic in April 2026.

Earlier in his career, Mousavi held senior leadership positions at Baxter International and Edwards Lifesciences, where he gained experience in advancing medical technologies, commercial growth, and organizational strategy.

His appointment adds significant medtech and cardiovascular leadership expertise to CardioMech as the company continues to advance its mitral valve repair technology and expand its position in structural heart care.
