John R. Chiminski
QuidelOrtho Corporation, a global leader in in vitro diagnostic technologies for point-of-care settings, clinical labs, and transfusion medicine, has announced the appointment of John R. Chiminski and R. Scott Huennekens as independent directors to its Board of Directors.
These appointments reinforce QuidelOrtho’s dedication to maintaining a strong, independent Board with a diverse mix of expertise and leadership.
John R. Chiminski
A seasoned executive with extensive experience in medical diagnostics and pharmaceuticals, Mr. Chiminski served as CEO of Catalent from 2009 to 2022, where he transformed the company into a global leader in biopharma services. Under his leadership, Catalent became a standalone public company after its carve-out from Cardinal Health. Before Catalent, he spent over 20 years at GE Healthcare, eventually serving as President and CEO of GE Medical Diagnostics, a US$1.9 billion global business.
