The MyDoc system has a robust reminders system, one that can use smart phone notifications or even simple SMS on feature phones. Reminders can be set extremely flexibly, ranging from reminders about appointments but extending to reminders for prescription taking, blood glucose monitoring, etc.

1. What kind of privacy a user can expect from MyDoc?

We have built the system from the ground up to be responsive to regional privacy safe guards like the Personal Data Protection Act and even stricter standards such as US’ HIPAA. With end-to-end encryption, the system prioritizes data privacy and security.

2. How to get a doctor appointment with MyDoc?

MyDoc’s goal is to increase the productivity of provider and patient communications. As such, we provide a virtual appointment booking feature on our platform that can integrate with a CMS calendar system. Virtual appointments are designed to make it easier for providers and patients to connect and supplement in-clinic encounters.

3. How long MyDoc’s diary will store the health information?

Data does not expire on MyDoc’s diary, though a user can export or wipe their account if they so choose.

4. Is it possible to continue my on-going treatment while being a new user to Mydoc?

Yes – we can port over the regimen and begin to build a timeline of data from historical data combined with the interactivity of new data from our integrated providers.

5. Do I need to continue with the same healthcare professional from the initial selection or can I change?

The patient is always in control of the professionals that they choose to share their information with. You can even select multiple professionals to consult on your condition – we call this a “care team” approach. The “care team” is modeled on what happens in hospitals where patients tend to have multiple professionals advising on their care. Now this same approach can be delivered virtually and to the patient in his or her own home. All the same, if a patient wishes to discontinue consulting with a given professional, all it takes is a few taps or clicks.

6. How much MyDoc will charge for consultations?

Those rates are fixed based on the local market and in partnership with healthcare professionals in that particular market.

7. Is there any availability of doctor appointment reminder? Or a reminder after getting doctor appointment?

The MyDoc system has a robust reminders system, one that can use smart phone notifications or even simple SMS on feature phones. Reminders can be set extremely flexibly, ranging from reminders about appointments but extending to reminders for prescription taking, blood glucose monitoring, etc. Now all healthcare reminders can come from the convenience of one system, not the fragmented jumble of apps and systems that patients with multiple conditions would have to use previously.

8. Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes – it is easy to cancel and/or reschedule using our system.

9. Will MyDoc respond to the late night or early morning queries?

MyDoc is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Because our model is to work with existing local professionals that patient already know and love, response times will depend upon the guidelines that the professional group has set for its patients.

10. How can I update lab reports to my personal health diary?

The best part of the MyDoc system is that in most cases, all a patient would need to do to update lab reports is sign consent. That is because MyDoc is unique in being able to pull electronic lab data from the Lab Information Systems of many of the local corporate lab groups. As such, patients no longer have to worry about printing and scanning; instead they get access to interactive charts and data that they can retrieve from anywhere.
