Christus Health Commences Construction of US$80 Million New Cancer Centre

Introduction:

The Christus St. Vincent health system has planned an US$80 million project to construct a state-of-the-art cancer centre in Mexico.

Features:

The new cancer centre will cover an expansive area of 80,000 square feet, providing ample space for various facilities and services.

It is designed to replace an existing smaller cancer treatment facility located on Zia Road.

The primary goal of the new cancer centre is to be fully inclusive, offering comprehensive services that cater to all aspects of cancer care and treatment. Patients will be able to access all their required services in one convenient location.

The centre will offer integrative medicine, combining conventional treatments with complementary therapies to enhance patients' overall well-being. Moreover, he centre will also provide specialised care for geriatric oncology patients, recognising their unique needs and concerns along with a dedicated breast cancer programme

The construction of this comprehensive cancer centre is expected to be completed by the fall of 2024.
