City of Hope Plans for New Surgical Centre Expansion in USA

Introduction:

City of Hope plans for the surgical centre expansion to bring optimal cancer care to more patients, families and communities.

Features:
The Phoenix Surgical Centre expansion encompasses around 15,000 square feet of new construction and 20,000 square feet of renovation.

This expansion marks a significant increase in City of Hope’s capabilities in Arizona, solidifying its position as a premier cancer research and treatment facility in the region.

The project includes the addition of four new operating rooms, recovery rooms, endoscopy rooms, post- anaesthesia care units, and a new surface parking lot at the Goodyear Cancer Hospital.

By expanding, the new surgical centre aims to extend its specialised care, including bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and cellular therapies, to a larger number of patients.

The team’s expertise in constructing advanced healthcare facilities will ensure the delivery of a cutting-edge project that will benefit both patients and healthcare professionals for many years to come.

The new project is expected to be completed in 2026.
