Orlando Health and Acadia Healthcare plans to start the construction of new behavioural health hospital in Florida, USA.

The new behavioural health hospital will improve access to vital mental health services in the Orlando metro area.

The state-of-the-art hospital will offer a wide range of services, including inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, catering to individuals across different age groups struggling with various mental health conditions.

It will specialise in treating acute symptoms of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders, addressing the immediate needs of patients.

By expanding existing capabilities and offering more comprehensive services, the hospital aims to improve access to life-saving behavioural health services in the Orlando metro area.

The new hospital will consolidate inpatient behavioural health services from the South Seminole Hospital Campus, streamlining services and potentially enhancing efficiency in care delivery.

Scheduled to open in Spring 2025, the hospital will serve as a centre of excellence seamlessly integrated into the Orlando Health system.
