AsiaMedic announces the installation of the SIGNA™ Hero 3.0T MRI scanner representing a significant advancement in healthcare innovation, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.

The SIGNA™ Hero 3.0T is an advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner that offers higher magnetic field strength (3.0 Tesla) compared to conventional MRI scanners, which typically operate at 1.5 Tesla. This higher field strength allows for improved image quality and greater detail in the images produced.

The new SIGNA™ Hero 3.0T MRI scanner, obtained from GE HealthCare, provide better-quality pictures of the inside of the body, make scans faster, and improve diagnostic precision. This advanced MRI system uses high-tech methods to provide quicker and more accurate imaging results.

The SIGNA™ Hero 3.0T MRI scanner introduces a diverse range of advantages:

1. Enhanced Image Quality: Featuring the AI Deep Learning-based reconstruction technique (AIR™ Recon DL), this system achieves an unprecedented Signal-to-Noise ratio boost of up to four times. This advancement eliminates undesired signals from raw data, resulting in crisper, more precise images that empower accurate diagnoses.

2. Faster Scan Times: The seamless synergy of AIR™ Recon DL and automated functionalities like intelligent slice placement ensures consistent, impeccable images, regardless of patient conditions, orientation, or time intervals between scans. This innovation not only streamlines the workflow but also reduces setup time by up to 59 percent and table time by 37 percent, significantly boosting operational efficiency.

3. Greater Patient Comfort: Empowered by Whole Body Imaging capability, this scanner offers comprehensive clinical coverage, minimising the need for patient repositioning during scans. The expansive bore covers a larger clinical surface, expediting scans for cases demanding thorough organ imaging.

4. Sustainable, Extensive Imaging Solution: The scanner's innovative magnet design optimally utilises helium, boasting a remarkable 65 percent reduction in helium consumption compared to its predecessors. This magnet design enables a diverse range of clinical applications, encompassing brain, prostate, cardiac, musculoskeletal, liver elastography, nerve, and breast imaging.
