Lourdes Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey Recognized as a Leader in Respiratory Failure Care

Lourdes Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey (LSHNJ) today announced it has earned The Joint Commission’s Disease Specific Certification for Respiratory Failure and compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.

Lourdes Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey underwent a rigorous, onsite survey on October 20, 2016. During the review, a surveyor from The Joint Commission evaluated compliance with hospital standards related to care of the patient with respiratory failure. The surveyor also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
