Sysmex Corporation announced to establish a new manufacturing base in Gujarat State, India to achieve medium- to long-term business expansion and sustainable growth.
In anticipation of increased demand for testing in India’s high-growth market, Sysmex has decided to construct a new manufacturing base in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in order to ensure a stable supply of products in the medium- to long-term through maintenance and expansion of the existing manufacturing structure.
It will have the manufacturing capacity and scalability to allow for rapidly increasing demand and an expanded product lineup in the future. It is also planned to enable manufacturing of some devices and to have a parts procurement function. Key concepts include high quality, high efficiency manufacturing, and environmental considerations such as the installation of a zero liquid discharge system3 aiming to eliminate water discharge outside the factory site.
Sysmex will continue to rapidly provide manufacturing structures matched to the market environment and growth in every region to ensure stable supplies of products to global customers.
