Arcadia.io Customers Averaged $8.9M in Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) Savings

Friday, September 28, 2018

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Arcadia.io, a widely-recognized leader in population health management, congratulates its Accountable Care Organization (ACO) customers in achieving $90 million in Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) savings in 2017. On average, Arcadia customers significantly outperformed other ACOs in 2017. Arcadia customers averaged over $8.9 million in savings, while all other ACOs averaged $3.4 million in savings.

MSSP is a value based payment program administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Under this program, CMS holds ACOs accountable for the quality, cost, and experience of care for an assigned population of Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries. The ACOs and CMS share the financial risk of providing healthcare.

“The skyrocketing cost of healthcare burdens American taxpayers, employers, and families,” said Arcadia.io chief executive officer Sean Carroll. “Value based payment programs like MSSP represent a path forward to ensuring medical care that is accessible, sustainable, and of high quality. We are proud to partner with Accountable Care Organizations across the country to help them achieve their quality and financial performance goals.”

Arcadia is recognized by KLAS, IDC, Chilmark, and other analysts for its population heath management platform and value based services. According to KLAS, Arcadia’s technology manages more lives per customer than any other rated population health vendor[1] – about 1 in 10 Americans. Arcadia Analytics is purpose-built to support ACOs and other organizations taking on value based contracts, and Arcadia has over a decade of experience building the rich, high quality data sets of aggregated EHR and claims clinical data required for population health.

Arcadia.io will exhibit at the National Association of ACOS (NAACOS) Fall Conference on October 3-5, 2018 in Washington, D.C. Arcadia will offer highly-focused demonstrations of Arcadia Analytics and the key capabilities ACOs need to be successful. For more information, contact marketing@arcadia.io.
