Caribbean Medical University's program has been very well-received in North America and in the Caribbean. An increasing number of students have been coming out to the regular information seminars and are applying with CMU to begin their journey of becoming a medical doctor.
This incredible response has encouraged CMU to open a satellite campus in India. This will be the first international bridging program for a premedical campus in Punjab with connections to US/Canadian hospitals for clinical rotations. Classes will begin in May of 2015. The 16,000 sq. foot campus will have an onsite hospital to enhance student learning experiences. It’s a modern state-of-the-art campus with research laboratories and latest technology. There is limited space with rolling admissions, and CMU is now accepting applications.
Over the years, CMU has seen many South Asian students in US and Canada interested in becoming doctors and now there is an opportunity for them to have easier access to gain knowledge and experience abroad. Graduates of this CMU program can choose to practice in India, Canada or the US.
The CMU India campus is located in the heart of Punjab, just minutes away from Chandigarh airport.
