FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc., a specialist in the development of state-of-the-art, point-of-care ultrasound products, today announced the launch of two SonoSite iViz ultrasound SonoSite transducers for a total of four of these high-performance, hand-held diagnostic devices stand. The iViz was designed from the ground up and is a miniaturized ultrasound system that fits in every pocket. You can take it anywhere, from the bedside to emergency operations in car accidents. With additional L25v and C60v transducers in the portfolio, medical staff can now apply the iViz for ophthalmic, arterial, venous, lung and nerve surface applications, as well as deeper abdominal and obstetric applications.

The iViz combines a high resolution 7 "display with proprietary imaging technology for superior image quality and rapid interpretation and reporting. In addition to the outstanding image quality, the iViz shines through the production of aerospace aluminum with bevelled edges to protect the display and the device from water penetration. In addition, all transducers are case tested from 3 feet high (approximately 1 meter ) and are IPX-7 certified, so they can be fully submerged in water and approved disinfectants.
L25v transducer: The all-new SonoSite L25v transducer is ideal for ophthalmic, arterial, venous, lung and nerve surface applications. The bag-sized device offers superior 2D image quality and new exam presets.
C60v transducer: The SonoSite C60v transducer is designed for depth applications such as abdominal, lung or obstetric examinations. The pocket-sized device can be operated with one hand and offers superior 2D image quality as well as new exam presets, calculations and measurements for the acute care, internistics, obstetrics and veterinary applications. The C60v also features DirectClear technology, which improves performance through better penetration and greater contrast resolution.
