GE HealthCare and Hartford HealthCare have announced the extension of their collaboration, now spanning until 2030, to advance personalized quality care in Connecticut. This renewed partnership, known as the Care Alliance, seeks to enhance access to innovative healthcare solutions while reducing overall patient care expenses.

Hartford HealthCare will undergo a phased upgrade of its imaging technology, incorporating state-of-the-art advancements in software, artificial intelligence (AI), and future technologies. This initiative aims to provide patients with improved access to cutting-edge imaging capabilities, shorter wait times, and more accurate diagnostic assessments. Additionally, the collaboration includes the integration of GE HealthCare's patient monitoring, anesthesia, maternal infant care, and diagnostic cardiology technologies.

These advancements will be complemented by AI-powered solutions like the Critical Care Suite 2.0, designed to assist clinicians in real-time diagnosis and treatment decisions, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes. Other innovations such as Deep Learning Image Reconstruction and AIR™ Recon DL will further enhance image quality and scan efficiency, improving diagnostic accuracy and patient comfort. GE HealthCare technicians will provide on-site maintenance and repair services, ensuring optimal equipment performance and patient safety. Furthermore, build-in-place upgrades will minimize construction costs and disruptions to patient care, emphasizing the commitment to maximizing equipment performance and longevity.
